Farm Walk - NSA Cymru/Wales Region

NSA Cymru/Wales Region held a successful farm walk on Tuesday at Frowen Farm, Carmarthenshire, home of Ben Anthony and Diana Fairclough, winners of the Farmers Guardian Sheep Innovator award 2016.
NSA Cymru / Wales Region Development Officer Helen Davies reports: “Ben and Diana made us and the good number of visiting NSA members and friends very welcome and we were blessed with sunshine which made the walk most enjoyable. The couple have put a lot of effort into improving the grassland management of the farm and this has certainly paid off, evidenced by their 640 ewes looking extremely well”.
The visit included a comprehensive presentation from Ben before the walk demonstrating the improvement in the flock over the last few years and their hopes for further future improvement. Helen continues “Thanks go to Ben and Diana for being fantastic hosts and providing our members with an interesting insight to their enterprise”.
