NSA Eastern Region Ram Sale (August)

The NSA Eastern Region Ram Show and Sale was held at Rugby Farmers Mart on Friday 22nd August 2014. The Rams were kindly judged by Mr Steve Deeming.
Trade started relatively slowly but gained momentum very quickly, with over 50% of the Rams through the ring selling by the end of the day.
The show was won by Mr P Castle, who travelled all the way from Peterborough with his pen of three Texel Shearlings, which sold for up to 495gns. This price was only pipped by Messers Alan & RM Thomas, who took 500gns for his powerhouse of a Charollais. Messers J & C Maxwell sold Charollais Shearlings for 490gns. Alan Thomas also topped the Ram lambs with 405gns.
