NSA Scottish Region/Caltech Crystalyx Roadshow 2

Date: 13th December 2016

Time: 6.30pm

Location: Carfraemill Hotel, Carfraemill, Lauder, TD2 6RA

After a strong start to this year's series of roadshow meetings back in November, NSA Scottish Region held its second roadshow meeting on this month in conjunction with Caltech Crystalyx at the Carfraemill Hotel, Lauder.

A turnout of some 50 farmers heard a presentation from Euan Hart of Caltech Crystalx, after which Iain MacDonald from QMS spoke on factors affecting the lamb price now and in the future. George Milne, NSA Scottish Region Development Officer, says: “Speaking on behalf of NSA Scottish Region, I concluded the evening with an update on the region’s current and ongoing work. Several people commented at the end of the meeting on how impressed they were with the huge variety of policy subjects NSA is involved with and the amount of stakeholder groups it is represented in. This meeting proved a great opportunity to present the important work NSA Scottish Region carries out on behalf of farmers, as well as serving as a great way of connecting with NSA members and non-members who attended.”
