NSA South East Region Members Meeting 2021

Location: Online
It’s was a busy week for NSA South East region with a committee meeting on Monday evening followed by the ARMM on Wednesday evening, both held virtually of course. Due to the continued uncertainties and restrictions caused by Covid-19 the rescheduled Field Days, postponed from 2020, look increasingly unlikely to take place.

NSA Scottish Region Annual Members Meeting 2021

On Wednesday 13 January 2021, NSA Scotland held its Annual Regional Members Meetings (ARMM) via the online meeting platform ‘Zoom’. This meeting attracted a much larger audience than in previous years, which can be attributed to the virtual event easing attendance from such a large regional land area.

On Friday 11th December 2020 NSA South West members took part in a lively discussion with Neil Parish, MP for Tiverton and Honiton and chair of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Select Committee. NSA Marches Region held its Annual Regional Members Meetings (ARMM) in early December via the online meeting platform ‘Zoom’. The meeting attracted a larger than usual audience, perhaps enjoying the comfort of their own homes, who re-elected and approved the regional committee of Ant Spencer as Regional Chairman, Richard Vines as Regional Vice Chairman, Mike Credland as Regional Treasurer and Henry Dunn as Regional Trustee.

The impact of Brexit on the UK's breed societies webinar

Location: Webinar
NSA hosted on behalf of pedigree livestock breed societies in the UK, and supported by Defra a webinar discussing Britain’s final departure from the EU, its impact on livestock breed societies, and future trade in breeding stock in November 2020. With such important topics to be discussed the webinar attracted a large audience and generated many questions to be answered to allow livestock owners to prepare themselves for the UK's departure from the EU.
