Changes in the Farming Scene - 29th Nov '07

NSA INVITATION TO EXAMINE CHANGES IN THE FARMING SCENE

Everyone is welcome to The N.I. Region NSA AGM on 29th November at Greenmount Campus to hear agricultural journalist James Campbell’s views on ‘The Changes in the farming scene’.

After the AGM  (which will be as short as possible) guest speaker James Campbell will draw from his wealth of knowledge as he takes a look forward at the agricultural industry.

Since 1984 James has been Northern Editor of the Irish Farmers’ Journal. He is currently Vice-Chairman of Agrisearch, the body that administers funds for agricultural research on behalf of farmers in Northern Ireland.

He has visited farms in other parts of the world and gained knowledge of agriculture and food policy in other countries, mainly through his involvement in the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists. Recent travels have included Japan in September 2007, Norway in 2006, Switzerland in 2005. He also visited Argentina and Uruguay in 2005. NSA are confident that James will be entertaining and encourage much debate on the problems and solutions for the N. Ireland Agricultural Industry.
