Action needed to protect UK sheep flock from vaccine crisis, says NSA
With livestock health under ever increasing scrutiny, the National Sheep Association (NSA) is highlighting the critical need to address the ongoing issues with disruption to animal vaccine supply. Be alert to heightened risk of sheep worrying attacks during summer holidays, warns NSA
As peak summer holiday season arrives in the UK the National Sheep Association (NSA) is issuing a reminder to holidaymakers of the risk posed by their pet dogs to sheep they may meet on their countryside breaks. During walks in the countryside, it is not uncommon to come across grazing livestock including sheep and if a dog is being walked off lead an encounter can result in a chase and in the worst cases physical attacks taking place.

SCOPS webinars to provide real-world advice on checking if a worming treatment has been effective
To continue to build on its role of providing practical advice for sheep farmers, vets, prescribers and advisers, the Sustainable Control of Parasites in Sheep (SCOPS) group is offering two free-to-attend webinars in mid-July.
