NSA South East Region Farm Walk

On Tuesday 12th August NSA South East Region met at Plumpton college for a tour of its Lambert Farm. Following a wet start, attendees were given an introduction to the farm's dairy unit and an overview of all animal enterprises. They were then treated to a tour around the farm with a more detailed explanation of sheep system and how it works around the dairy cattle. Visitors were then taken up on the South Downs where the sun broke through allowing a lovely view of the Mule sheep flock as well as the arable system.
