Love Lamb week is an annual campaign promoting and encouraging the domestic consumption of lamb during its peak season.

Launched in 2015 by passionate Cumbrian sheep farmer Rachel Lumley in response to poor lamb prices the campaign is now firmly established running annually from 1st to the 7th September.

NSA is working closely alongside levy boards and other industry bodies to facilitate the campaign, but its success is built upon the desire of individual farmers to get involved and amplify the messages doing whatever they can.

This Breakfast Club will welcome you to an open discussion on how the farming community can support the public facing work of the UK levy boards during the annual Love Lamb week campaign. The session will be joined by levy board representatives from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as NSA Next Generation Ambassadors active in the promotion of Love Lamb Week.

Panellists include:

  • Rebecca Miah, AHDB
  • Phillipa Gill, HCC
  • Lesley Cameron, QMS
  • Farmers to discuss and share ideas for Love Lamb

If you mark the campaign each year, please contribute to the discussion and share your ideas with others. Questions are encouraged and if there is anything you specifically wish to be covered, please email enquiries@nationalsheep.org.uk in advance of the webinar.
