NSA Eastern Region ARMM

Notice is hereby given that the Annual Regional Members’ meeting for NSA Eastern Region will be held on Wednesday 9^th November, 6pm at Heath Court Hotel, Moulton Road, Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 8DY, to transact the following business:

1. Election / re-approval of the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer

2. Nomination / re-approval of the regional Trustee Director

3. Election of new committee members

4. Chairman's report and Treasurer's report 

Members residing in NSA Eastern Region are eligible to appoint a proxy on their behalf if they cannot attend the meeting, but this must be done in advance with NSA Head Office.

The meeting will be followed by two very interesting and informative speakers :

• Katie James, NSA Communications Manager - NSA Communications work and the Next Generation programme. 
• Simon Wearmouth, Partner at Brown & Co, Norwich - Sheep and new land management schemes. After graduating from Seale-Hayne Agricultural College   and training in the West Country, Simon has worked for Brown & Co in Norfolk since 2005.  Simon has extensive experience in business management, contract farming, diversification, rural grants, dealing with DEFRA & RPA schemes, in addition to provision of advice in respect of Landlord Tenant matters including rent reviews and succession. Simon is an experienced machinery auctioneer, conducting machinery auctions for the last 15 years he also pioneered the use of online auctions for agricultural machinery and launched the Nation Online Timed Auction service in 2014.  Simon lives on a mixed farm in mid Norfolk and runs a flock of Romney sheep with his family.

After the talks the hotel will be serving a carvery meal – price £15/head.  Do stay to chat with fellow sheep farmers and enjoy the evening.
