Date: 13th August 2020

Time: 10am

Location: Sheep Centre, Blackmore Park Road, Malvern, Worcestershire, WR13 6PH and via web link

NSA’s AGM, held on 13th August, was the organisation’s first ever online AGM and, despite some teething problems, the meeting ran smoothly.
The meeting was chaired by NSA President Lord Inglewood and all the existing officeholders were re-elected. The Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year ending 31st December 2019 were adopted.

As well as the formal element of the meeting there was discussion on the Agriculture Bill, with Lord Inglewood updating members on progress through the House of Lords. The future of Newton Rigg College was also discussed, with concerns voiced about the proposal to close the college in July 2021.
