Register of Sheep Advisers launch events

Date: 13th May 2021

Time: 2.30pm

Location: Online

The new Register of Sheep Advisers (RoSA) are holding two online launch events on Wednesday 13th May.

RoSA is a new Professional Register for qualified and well-informed advisers working with the UK sheep industry. RoSA has been created through a collaboration between NSA and BASIS, together aiming to support the wider sheep sector as it moves towards a more sustainable future.

The RoSA launch event will provide all the key information on how RoSA will operate, what benefits it will provide its members and how it will support the UK sheep industry more widely. NSA Chief Executive Phil Stocker will join the event to speak alongside independent sheep consultant Liz Genever and BASIS Chief Executive Stephen Jacob.

Two sessions will be held, the first at 2.30pm designed for press and other stakeholders to join to learn about the new group, the second will be at 6.30pm for those interested in learning more about joining the register themselves.

The launch event will be followed on Tuesday 1st June with a technical webinar on maintaining lamb performance post weaning for sheep farmers and advisers. Further details of this will be shared with NSA members very soon.
