The NSA Lambing List is an invaluable tool to many of its members, providing a match-making service to sheep farmers looking for assistance at lambing time. It typically operates between October and April each year. NSA members can advertise a work experience placement, to be filled by a veterinary or agricultural student to complement their studies. As such, the Lambing List also supports the next generation of sheep farmers and large animal vets.
There are updated guidelines for farmers offering lambing placements during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic available to download on this page.
As part of NSA's support for the next generation of sheep farmers and large animal vets, each year we collate a list of NSA members looking for help at lambing time. These sheep farmers are able to offer work experience placements to veterinary and agricultural students.
The NSA Lambing List is now closed.
It will be opened for the 2022/23 lambing season in the autumn and NSA members will be informed at that time. If you are a student and would like to be notified by email when the 2022/23 list goes live, please send your name and email address to firstname.lastname@example.org.
