Join EBLEX, with help from Catchment Sensitive Farming, at this intensive workshop on making the best of your grazing and soils management. EBLEX’s Dr Liz Genever will consider soil nutrient management and grass production at Elm House Farm giving plenty of take home tips for improving the grazing season. Jonathan Skidmore, local Catchment Sensitive Farming Officer, will take delegates through the environmental schemes available.

5.30pm  Introduction to Elm House Farm and farm visit – to show how pastures have recovered since the wet summer period

 

6.45pm  Soil nutrient management and grass production – Liz Genever                     

7.30pm  Environmental schemes and nutrient management –Jonathan Skidmore, CSFO, Natural England

 

8.00pm  Closing questions and discussion
