Stamp Out Lameness seminars to run at Royal Welsh Show

12th July 2013

NSA is hosting a series of training workshops at the Royal Welsh Show on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th July to coincide with the latest campaign running in Farmers Weekly to stamp out lameness in sheep.

These highly practical half-hour sessions (including free refreshments) in the hospitality area at the back of the NSA Sheep Centre (the NSA pavilion next to the shearing arena) will provide an excellent opportunity for members to receive expert guidance on how to implement the proven five-point lameness reduction plan in their own flock. These workshops are targeted towards commercial sheep farmers.

FAI Farms developed the proven five-point plan and its head of veterinary programmes Ruth Clements will be on hand to deliver the training. There will be four sessions on each day.

If you are attending the Royal Welsh Show on 23rd or 24th July and would like to register for one of these free workshops, all you have to do is call onto the MSD Animal Health stand at the event or contact Andy Dallyn directly on 07990 577021.
