AGM celebrates successful year for NSA

Yesterday saw the NSA hold its 120th Annual General Meeting. this year hosted by the Moredun Research Institute at Pentlands Science Park, Penicuik, Edinburgh.

The AGM was followed by the annual update from NSA staff, a presentation by the Moredun Research Institution, lunch and a tour of Moredun's lab facilities and farm.

Please see below for the agenda from the day, as well as the Annual Accounts and Report from the Trustees for the year ending 31st December 2012. This report was approved at the meeting. Also below is an activity report for the year 2012, summarising the work done by NSA.

1. To receive apologies for absence.

2. To confirm the Minutes of the 119th Annual General Meeting.
3. To receive:
a. The Trustees Report to year ended 31st December 2012.
b. The Statement of Accounts to year ended 31st December 2012.
c. The adoption of (a) and (b).
4. To elect:
a. Officers for the ensuing year; President and Honorary Treasurer.
b. Vice-President(s).
c. Auditors.

ANNUAL UPDATE

Phil Stocker, NSA Chief Executive, and NSA staff will present a summary of current NSA activity.

This will be followed by a presentation by Dr Colin McInnes, Moredun’s Head of Vaccines and Diagnostics, and then a buffet lunch.

After lunch, Dr Manus Graham will conduct a tour of the Moredun’s lab facilities and farm.
