21st September 2021 Buoyant Trade for NSA Wales & Border Main Sale as Turnover pushes £2million There was a lively trade with a top price of 8,000 guineas, strongly increased averages and a turnover of nearly £2million at the NSA Wales & Border Main Sale. 18th September 2021 BlueFace Leicesters Blue Faced Leicesters Monday’s NSA Wales & Border Ram Main Sale can’t come soon enough for committee member and Blue Faced Leicester breeder Elfyn Owen. He farms near Llanrwst and has been a regular at the sale for about 40 years. Elfyn has served on the committee for four years and says it’s well worth the five hour round trip to support the sale. 17th September 2021 Badger Faces will go to Builth Two Torddu rams from the NSA Wales & Border Sales committee member, Lucy Levinge, will be offered for sale at the Royal Welsh Showground on Monday 20th September. One of Lucy’s Llwyn-on tups achieved a new record price of 1700 gns at the official society sale in Brecon this month. Read More
15th September 2021 Ram Sale Will Proceed The NSA Wales & Border Ram Sales will be going ahead, as planned, at the Royal Welsh Showground on Monday 20th September, albeit with the NSA inspections having been withdrawn. Some breed societies will continue to do their own inspections. Organisers say they have decided to suspend the inspection of sheep at this year's sale as a precaution against Covid infection.
