Interim chairman to be appointed for NSA Scottish Region

6th September 2022

On Saturday 3rd September, Jen Craig resigned from her role as NSA Scottish Region Chair. Jen took on the role in February 2019 for an initial two-year term, extending to a second two-year term in early 2021.

Phil Stocker, NSA Chief Executive, says: “It is with regret that Jen has resigned. She has done an incredible job steering NSA Scottish Region through some difficult times over a period of almost four years and NSA will make sure her efforts have not been wasted. I respect Jen’s decision, which was made with the interests of NSA at heart. We now need to continue the progress she has made.

“To deal with the situation quickly and firmly, the decision has been taken to put one of the two NSA Trustees from Scottish Region in the position of interim chair for the foreseeable future. They will be supported by the NSA Board of Trustees in its role of protecting the interest of NSA and its members in Scotland.”

Jen was due to stand down from her position at the NSA Scottish Region Annual Members’ Meeting in early 2023.
