24th March 2014 Inter-Region Sheep Shearing Competition set to draw the crowds to NSA Scotsheep 2014 Eight regional teams of top open shearers will take part in a novel sheep shearing competition at NSA Scotsheep 2014 at Quixwood, Grantshouse, Berwickshire, on Wednesday, June 4. It will be the first time an inter-region competition has been held on this scale in Scotland and is set to be one of the major highlights of Scotland’s biennial national sheep event which is organised by NSA Scotland with sponsorship from Bank of Scotland. 20th December 2013 Show and Sale of pairs of Breeding Ewe Hoggs set to be a feature of NSA Scotsheep 2014 A multi-breed show and sale of pairs of breeding ewe hoggs will be a major feature of next year’s NSA Scotsheep 2014 to be held at Quixwood, Grantshouse, Berwickshire, on June 4, courtesy of host farmers, John and Iain Macfarlane. The show and sale will include classes for 14 breeds and follows a similar sale – the first ever of its kind to be held in Scotland – at the Highland Sheep event at Dingwall earlier this year. NSA Scotsheep 2014 will be held on the Berwickshire farm of Quixood, Grantshouse, courtesy of the Macfarlane family, on Wednesday, June 4.
