2016 saw an exciting and popular addition to the NSA Sheep Event in the form of farm tours the day before the event. After its initial success, these will be returning to NSA Sheep 2018, which will see tour buses depart from the Three Counties Showground, Malvern the day before the event (Tuesday 17th July 2018).
Due to the popularity of this tour, places are limited and early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Click here to access a booking form.

A small number of Cotswold, Herdwick and Welsh Mountain Badger Face ewes are also kept. The farm also run a 70-head suckler herd and have 100 acres of arable production, growing organic cereals including wheat, barley, triticale and oats.
Farm Tour 2: Sam Jones
The second farm visit of the day runs a flock of 1,150 North Country Mules, the primary enterprise alongside some arable production. Sam is keen to gather as much data as possible to enable informed decisions for the farm enterprise and is one of 13 producers taking part in AHDB Beef & Lamb’s Challenge Sheep project. This project is aiming to understand the consequences of the rearing phase on the lifetime performance of ewes, covering both sheep bred as ewe lambs and shearlings. The farm also utilises solar panels and biomass boilers to generate heating and electricity.
