Joint industry guidance for contractors

NSA was actively involved in the creation of two industry ‘codes of practice’ – one for sheep shearers and the other for individuals running mobile sheep dipping services.

The bodies who wrote the sheep shearing guidance were British Wool, the National Association of Agricultural Contractors (NAAC), NSA, the three GB farming unions (NFU, NFU Cymru and NFU Scotland) and the Farmers Union of Wales (FUW).

The organisations behind the guidelines for mobile dippers are the Animal Health Distributors Association (AHDA), Animal Medicines Training Regulatory Authority (AMTRA), Bimeda, National Association of Agricultural Contractors (NAAC), NSA and the Sustainable Control of Parasites in Sheep (SCOPS) group.
