During an informative round table discussion in the local pub Steve outlined the history of the Eagles in the U.K. and the rationale/objectives behind the reintroduction of this apex predator.  Of particular interest and relevance are the studies that he and his colleagues are undertaking to identify the dietary preferences of these majestic birds. The results of this work are soon to be published and will also be reported on in future issues of “Sheep Farmer”.
