As we look towards spring, NSA Northern Region is considering what makes a successful lambing, how to mitigate risk and what to do if things start to go wrong.

Members and anyone with an interest in sheep are invited to attend this Northern Region meeting on Monday 19th February at Carr’s Billington, Cockermouth CA13 0QQ.

7:30pm - Managing hygiene at lambing - discussing hygiene at lambing minimising the risk of joint ill, quality colostrum and hepling with decision on bedding choices. 

8:00pm - Managing in-lamb ewes to minimise risk and maximise performance - Elizabeth Berry, BVSc MRCVS PhD, Veterinary Director for ANIMAX

8:20pm - Mining the gap on trace element nutrition  - Matthew Jolly, Territory Manager for ANIMAX

8:35pm - Finish  - Chris Adamson, Northern Region Manager NSA
