NSA faces begin Farmers Guardian charity ‘dryathlon’

4th February 2014

NSA figures are taking part in a month-long ‘dryathlon’ in aid of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and RSABI this February. The booze ban has been organised by the Farmers Guardian to mark its 170th anniversary, which falls this month, and Farmers Guardian staff and other industry representatives are taking up the challenge.

NSA faces giving up their pints include John Geldard (NSA Chairman), Matt Bagley (NSA Central Region Committee Member and Newton Rigg Head of Agriculture), Bob Blanden (NSA South East Manager) and Andrew Barr (NSA South East Chairman).

You can support those taking part by donating online or by phone, or even by joining in the dryathlon yourself and contributing the savings you make on alcohol. To give, visit the Just Giving page, or text “FGBF70” followed by the amount you wish to donate to 70070.

You can keep up with the dryathletes on Twitter #CHEERSFG.
