Major sponsor, Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales (HCC), is looking forward to sharing the latest developments at NSA Welsh Sheep 23. HCC’s Producer and Processor Support Lead, John Richards, says it will be a good opportunity to catch up after a very challenging few years.
The organisation will be celebrating the success and sharing results from the Red Meat Development Programme, funded by the Welsh Government and the EU Rural Development Programme. The Red Meat Development Programme has focused on three key elements across the red meat sector – genetics in the hill sector, proactive flock and herd health planning and the meat eating quality of Welsh Lamb.
HCC will be taking part in the NSA Sheep Event seminars, as well as hosting Welsh Lamb cooking demonstrations on their cookery trailer.
