Minute-writer sought for NSA Scottish Region committee meeting

23rd March 2023

NSA Scottish Region is looking for an individual to write minutes of various committee meetings in an efficient and accurate manner.

A set fee of £75 per set of minutes will be paid, for a minimum of four meetings per year and maximum of 12.

Meetings are typically three hours long, in either the afternoon or evening. They are mostly online with the occasional one agreed as a face-to-face gathering. When they happen face-to-face they are typically at Stirling, but are nearly always hybrid so the minute-taker could still join online if they'd prefer not to travel. If they do travel,  mileage would be paid at 45p/mile.

Although an interest in the topics being discussed may be desirable, there is no requirement for a minute-taker to have any technical sheep farming understanding or prior knowledge of NSA. All minutes will be checked by the Regional Coordinator before being circulated to committee members, to clarify points if needed.

This is not an employed position. A written agreement will be put in place with the selected individual and payment for each set of minutes made on receipt of an invoice.

To express interest in the role, please send a covering letter and CV to Grace Reid, NSA Scottish Region Coordinator, at or grace@nationalsheep.org.uk before Wednesday 12th April. Please also contact Grace for any additional information, via email or on 07787 142858.
